Toy Library

The mission is to recycle learning, laughter, and love.

  • similar to a book library, our toy library allows families to check out up to 5 toys for a 4 week period (you can return at any time in the 4 weeks on exchange days but must not go over the 4 weeks without rechecking or paying a late fee).

  • the toy library has a variety of toys, games, learning resources, and even some medical/therapy equipment for all children under the age of 10.

  • yearly memberships are $55 per family (anything you would like to donate above the membership fee will go towards batteries, cleaning supplies, & toy replacement parts).

  • exchanging toys saves money, unifies our community, & encourages fun as well as frugality.

  • children can come play with toys on exchange days before taking them home.

    CARING FOR THE TOYS

    • when borrowing the toys, they are your responsibility and are to be treated well. Please return all toys in the bags/boxes they came in. If packaging is lost, put toy in a zip lock bag.

    • If the toy is damaged & cannot be fixed, you will have to either replace they toy or pay its purchase value.

    • If pieces of the toy are lost, and it does not affect the value of the toy (a lego) then return what you have. If the lost piece does affect the value or use of the toy (puzzle), you will need to pay a $5 fee. Please bring back the missing piece if found.

    • Wipe down all toys with an antibacterial spray or Lysol wipe before returning them. We will also clean them before returning them to the shelf, but if you return a toy that is dirty or in disarray, a $5 fee will be applied.

    • Toys can be returned at any of the exchange days but cannot be kept longer than 4 weeks. If toys are not returned or rechecked out before the 4 week mark, 10 cents a day will be charged until returned.

  • benefits of becoming a member are that you are meeting other awesome families in our community, you are saving money, and you are helping to recycle instead of discard really great toys that can bring joy to many.
